A look into our workshop

The art of making jewellery is one where the human touch plays a central role. The creation of every hand-crafted piece is a collaboration of skilled designers, jewellers, stone setters, and polishers.

Inspirations are sketched to form an ideal first image reflecting the spirit of the piece. Freehand drawings concretise these abstract inspirations. With the help of CAD technology, the design is then finalised. We can even make a preliminary model ensure you’ll love the finished product.

Platinum, gold, and silver are worked on in wires and flattened volumes. The metal, heated to a precisely predetermined temperature, is melted with a little blowtorch. The details rendering the piece unique are then carefully handcrafted.

Stones are handpicked following a rigorous process. Each stone is then set by hand.
Polishing finishes the process, giving the piece a shiny splendour. Pieces are then dipped in a special solution for final cleaning and brightening.

Insurance FAQs

The insurance company will require some proof of ownership and evidence of the value of the item. Once the claim is accepted, the current value or values will be recalculated from the item description in your valuation. If your cover is for replacement, you will usually be issued with a voucher to purchase a new item. If your cover is for indemnity, the insurance company usually has the option of replacing or paying you the indemnity value in cash.
1. Contact your insurance company to inform them that your property has been lost, stolen or damaged.
2. Have your insurance company contact the person who valued your jewellery or gemstones to provide further assistance so that you may properly replace your item.
3. Once your items have been replaced by the insurance company, take the replacement piece and your original valuation certificate back to the jewellery valuer for confirmation that it is comparable to the original.
We recommend having your diamond plotted. A plot is a diagram of your diamond’s inclusions in specific regions of your diamond. No two diamonds have the same inclusions in those locations. Therefore, a plot is like a fingerprint. After repair, any gemologist will be able to ID your diamond.
You are welcome to drop off your precious items for valuation, or you may sit and wait while we analyse your piece, but this service may incur additional fees.
We can value and check the authenticity of jewellery. It is always advisable to get jewellery bought from shopping websites/channels valued, as only an expert in the field can determine the correct value and issue a jewellery valuation report based on the market scenarios.
We ask you to supply any previous appraisals, receipts, certificates, grading reports or other documentation, in order to note as much detail as possible. Your previous receipts and certificates contain the exact weights and details which are helpful in determining the value of your jewellery article. In addition, some lab certificates may even add to the value of your jewellery. We also scan all the previous documents and store it on our system.
Jewellery, gemstones, and diamonds should be revalued every two or three years to ensure that the valuation reflects the current market value. This may also depend on the supply and demand of your gemstone, however regularly updating your valuation will allow you to identify any wear and tear and to ensure that your items are able to be replaced in the event of loss of theft, if their market price increases.
Most insurance companies will require a current valuation certificate provided by an independent valuer before they are willing to establish cover that reflects true market value.
In order to issue an updated valuation, it is necessary for the item to be verified in our office. Please call us to arrange an appointment
